📢 Section 19 and Alternative Education: OxPCF Raises Ongoing Concerns

OxPCF has written to Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) to highlight ongoing concerns around how Section 19 of the Education Act is being implemented — particularly for children with SEND who are currently out of school.

While we welcome OCC’s acknowledgement of past failings and initial steps toward improvement, we believe there is still a need for greater urgency, transparency, and genuine co-production to ensure children receive the education they are entitled to.
