EHCP Casework Team – Updated Structure and Contact Information
October 2026
Oxfordshire County Council has shared an updated structure chart for its Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Casework Team.
We know that understanding who to contact about your child's EHCP, and what to do when you're not receiving a response, isn't always straightforward.
The updated chart shows how the service is organised, including the teams responsible for:
Early Years and Primary (0–Year 6)
Secondary and Post-16 (Year 7–25), including EOTAS and Post-19
EHCP Assessments and Statutory Processes
Tribunals, Resolutions and Compliance
The chart also includes the names of EHCP Casework Officers, Senior Officers and Lead Officers.

Response Times and Escalating Concerns
Oxfordshire County Council expects members of the EHCP Casework Team to respond to parents, carers and education settings within five working days.
If you haven't received a response within this timeframe, the escalation process is:
Your EHCP Casework Officer or Assessment Officer – Your first point of contact and the person familiar with your child's case.
Business Support Team – If you haven't received a response within five working days, contact the team on 01865 815275.
Senior Officer – If your concerns remain unresolved, you can escalate the matter to the relevant Senior Officer.
Lead Officer – If further escalation is needed, you can contact the relevant Lead Officer.
The structure chart can help you identify the relevant Senior and Lead Officers.

Please Note
The EHCP Casework Team structure reflects information shared by Oxfordshire County Council in October 2026. Staffing, vacancies and responsibilities may change, so the chart should be viewed as a snapshot of the service at the time it was published.
