We are pleased to invite parent carers to participate in an upcoming listening event aimed at improving the communication and services provided by Oxfordshire’s EHCP casework team. Your insights and feedback are invaluable to us and will contribute to our continuous improvement plan and we hope you can join us for this important discussion.

Listening Event Details:

Discussion Focus: The primary focus of this discussion will be on the general communication from the EHCP casework team. Key areas to be addressed include your experiences of the topics listed below, with a significant part of the discussion focused on identifying solutions to key issues.

• Understanding of the structure and different functions of EHCP casework team and officers

• Notification of change of EHCP casework officer

• Timeliness of responses

• Quality of communication (both written and verbal)

• Clarity of escalation routes

​​Please Note: While this is a valuable opportunity to share your experiences, professionals at the Listening Group will not be able to discuss individual cases. The focus will be on learning from your general experiences with the communications regarding your child's EHCP and understanding what could have made it better for you.
